Bukhara State Museum 
Welcome to the world of residential architecture of Bukhara  

A fine example of urban residential architecture of the 19th  century with a unique interior and exterior decoration, built in the traditional Bukhara style is located in the ancient part of  Bukhara.
More than 200 exhibits of the museum will tell you about the life and traditions of the Bukhara merchant class. The male and female half of the house restored the old furniture of the rooms, exhibited clothes, interior items, dishes, common at the turn of the XIX - early XX centuries.
 In museum you can see:
•  Bukhara is a city of artisans and merchants ( 19 - 20th  centuries)
•  The separate exposition of the museum is devoted to the life and activities of  Bukharin merchants
•  The big interest is aroused by the museum expositions “Kitchen of the rich merchant house” and “Clicks of 19-20th centuries”.

•  Collection of tea dishes and samovars from the  fund of  Bukhara State Museum
•  The Exhibition “The Destiny of women in the house of The Khodjaev” focuses the attention of visitors to the tragedy of the family 20 members of which innocently suffered during Stalin repression.
