The museum is dedicated to the outstanding composer of Uzbekistan, the author of the Hymn of Uzbekistan Mutal Burkhanov (1916-2002), a man of versatile talent, performer and author of cantatas, suites, ballads and hymns. 
Mutal Burkhanov, a famous composer, was born in 1916. From a young age he became interested in composing music. At first he studied in Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent. He continued his studies at the Moscow Conservatory. In the house where the great composer spent the last years of his life by the decision of the Council of Ministers of Uzbekistan opened a house-museum.

The house-museum presents state awards, diplomas, musical notes, books, as well as clothing and musical instruments of the composer.
Being one of the founders of the Uzbek composer school, the chairman of the government  of the Union of Composers of the Uzbek SSR was the author of the first Uzbek many-voiced choral works. He  wrote music for films and plays. The People's Artist of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan was awarded with the prizes - the orders "El-yurt hurmati" and "Buyuk Hizmatlari Uchun", was an honorary professor at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

 In the museum you will see: photographs of different periods of the composer's life, documents, notes, records, musical instruments that characterized the unique talent of the composer who dedicated his whole life to the service of art.
