History of the museum’s building

It is placed in the former building of the State bank. This building was constructed in 1912. The branch of Bukhara museum-preserve –fine arts museum is placed in the building of the former state bank from 1980. The following exhibitions are set up in double-deck building of the museum in our days: exhibition of decorative-applied arts “Jewelry art of Bukhara – 2nd c. в.c. – 20th c.” (“Golden Treasury”); exhibition of fine arts (Picture-gallery), where works of uzbek artists are presented. Sadriddin Pochayev, U. Tansikhbayev, P. Benkov, Karakhan, Z.Saidjanov,   N. Babayev, Barnoyev and others;
